Log food with ChatGPT or Claude

Describe a meal, review the portions and nutrition, and save it to your existing Dial food log.

One food log

Each assistant connects separately. Choose Approve in Dial to use the account already on your iPhone, including a guest account created when you skipped signup. This requires a Dial version with app approval. You can also sign in on the connection page with the same Apple Account or email you use in Dial. Both assistants can save to that account, and your food appears when you open Dial.

You review before saving

Ask your connected assistant “Use Dial to show today’s food log.” Then describe a meal, review the draft, and ask it to save. You can request a correction or undo for a meal saved through the connection.

What is shared

Dial shares the food records and targets you request with the assistant you authorize. Dial receives the structured food values used to prepare and save your meal; it does not receive your full chat or original photos. Read the connection privacy notice before connecting.

Keep the Dial app updated for the latest synchronization improvements. Your assistant’s own account and plan requirements also apply.
